Heres the situation:
((For a 1998 Contour SVT))
1. Yesterday driving on the highway and Gas Light pops on. I didn't have my wallet on me and so i couldn't pull over and fill up... And i drove for an additional 12-15 miles with it on. Once i got home i filled it up. Drove well for the whole day no problems.
2. Next day, car won't start. Car wouldn't turn over just a clicking noise. Jumped the car and car started, i let it run idle for 5 minutes.
3. Went out for a test drive, working okay. Found a straight away and gunned it. Once the car reached 4,000 RPMs car bucked/stalled/hesitated which forced me to lay off the pedal, i then heard a humming sound like a "oooooooh." Simultaneous with the stalling was the GAS LIGHT Flashed on. Got home, tried starting and now it won't.
-starter was replaced March 2002
-battery relaced May 2002
Any ideas guys?
