Baco- yah, I looked at interest rates yesterday morning, and they are a whole point higher than when we locked in (we got extremely lucky, because we locked in when they were at their lowest!) about a month and a half ago. It's a crazy out there, that's for sure! Good luck with everything!

yeah. we looked at rates back in April and they were 3/8 lower. we got 5.25% and AS SOON AS we confirmed the rate, they went up to 5.50%. talk about missing a bullet! That's a difference of like $150 in our monthly payment.

Thank you all for the kind words! It is definitely awesome to have a place to call your own. There are things that need to be done, but that comes with the territory. The garage being PINK is not my thing, but other things are taking priority right now. It will be changed!!!  Keith, Didn't see you yesterday? Were you at work? Thanks again! We will have to have a shin-dig here at some point!
