Hey David! Thanks for the kind words!

I had wanted to see just how many people would think that we sold the SVT, but it didn't fool you!

We actually closed on May 27th (just a few days before Mike and Kim's wedding), and moved in on May 29th (the day before the wedding).

We love it and are so happy to finally own our own home! Unfortunately, as you can see in the pictures, the garage is bright pink inside! So, obviously, that will need to change before the SVT can sleep in there!

There are a few things that need(ed) to be updated, and we have fixed quite a few already. I guess that's to be expected with a house that was built in 1951! The last owner didn't really keep it up, so we had to clean and paint like mad people before we moved in. But, now, it looks like home! We still have a few boxes left to unpack, but we're pretty much done with that side of things. Now, it's fixing things (like putting up our lights), and working on the outside of the house!

Just a few stats for those of you who are wondering:

2 bedrooms, 1 bath,
1275sq ft

The rooms are really large, which is really nice! Plus, we have 8 1/2 ft ceilings! There is hardwood underneath all of the carpet, too! So, that will be nice some day!

Future plans are to update the bathroom and kitchen. But, it's livable right now! As you can see, we got a new stove and microwave hood, so we've already started with those few things!

Yes, we're all moved in! We moved on Saturday the 29th (but slept there since the night we closed- the 27th!).

We had to be out of the duplex by Memorial Day...and we wanted to be in the new house by Memorial Day, so that worked out well!

We actually made our offer on the house the first day it was on the market, so it was 'sale pending' for quite a while (over a month and a half). We didn't really want to share with too many people until it was a done deal.

We were actually looking for condos for almost 2 months when this house came along! We're very happy it ended up this way...AND, we have our own yard, and can be as loud as we want to be!!!
