Aside from how the topic started off ... here it goes.

I own a 2000 csvt, I've used 93 octane since i bought her
back in 2002 with 39,989 miles on the clock. I've used 93 octane on every fill up since 39K. I would complain about all the fuel pump problems i've had but i'm not. anyways i'm getting a little off topic again.

so one day i'm out at my friend house who lives out in the country. I live in the city . so while out in the country by - road atlanta - i ran passed this gas station that has 100 unleaded octane or at least i think its unleaded. anyways its like $3.00 a gallon but since prices in atlanta have been around $2.30 a gallon for 93 octane i figure why not and put 6 gallons in the tank which was already a 1/4 full of 93 octane.which gave me about 3/4 of a tank reading on the gas gauge.

I made the car much ,much ,much faster i couldn't believe it. it just slams to the redline over 5,000 rpms.
it barked second gear better than i've ever seen before. keep in mind my cars mainly stock ,optimized t/b and the mufflers removed.

i wasn't thinking about it at the time but there is a consequence for all this added performance. this 100 octane
burns up fast. by the time i made it back to my area i only had about a 1/4 tank of gas left. but it sure was fun while it lasted. est. 35-40 miles. crusing @ 80mph.
