Okay, took it in for a check up and now have more questions than answers. First of all, if it is the sensor, would it put out a code? None recorded. Second question, after driving it home I noticed that it "freaks out" only randomly or after the tranny is warmed up. Normal? While driving it I also noticed that it only freaks out above 45 mph (after shifting to 3rd) then it sometimes picks back up at about 55. Would this indicate something wrong with the clutches? The guys who did the work (fluid flush, filter and fill) think that it is "slipping real bad" (their words). I will get this sensor installed sometime this weekend and post the out come on another thread. If anyone who has had this same experience could chime in and lend some moral support and knowledge, that would be most appreciated. Thank you.
