I just paid 39.99 for two front pads from Advanced AutoParts in Thornton. They were the only ones in Colorado that had anything instock.
Checkers has some but they were wrong kind. Different part # in book and computer.?.?. I dont go there anymore.
As far as a date, the Saturday before Ford Fest sounds the best indeed. I have a BBQ and can make some Bonzai Burgers. That is if you like Beef, Pineapple grilled with special Teriyaki sauce. Some good old fashioned BBQ backed beans, and chips.
Atleast by then I hope that my car will be fixed, they called today and sure enough told me that the rotors are now too thin, but im using them anyway. Factory says that anything below 875/1000 is unsafe and mine are 872/100... and 868/1000. Unsafe my AZZ thats still over 85% rotor left.
And now the Bearing race is stuck in the stearing knuckles and they are using a torch.
