We are looking to purchase a new vehicle. My SVT is paid off and we'll keep that. The requirements for the new vehicle would be something she can drive on a daily basis and I can use when I need it. I will need to be able to get to the mountains for snowboarding and mountain biking. We were looking at some of the larger SUVs, but they are all so damn expensive and use so much gas. I'm thinking about the Subaru Forester XT (turbo, 5.3s 0-60, 13.8 1/4 mile). It should give us what we need plus still be fun and fast. What do you guys think? Any other vehicles you would recommend? Thanks.

I'd vote for a Subaru of some kind. Either and Outback or Forrester. Subys seem to go forever
