I maybe crazy but I wonder if the computer would help the SE any. I am willing to be the guinniee(spelling) pig for this mod. I know alot of the parameters are different, But trying can't hurt right. Anyone with a wrecked SVT that is willing to sell the computer let me know I'll buy it. If the price is right.

I expect that Ford could re-program a new set of keys for you, but they screw you for big $ to do a re-programming if you lose your keys, so I expect that same big $ charge would apply. Yup, won't work. Tried to switch a computer from a '98 SVT into a '98.5 SVT and nothing. Car won't even turn over. That day, I was cursing PATS.  John

I see your point. I would still be interested in a compter if I could get a key to go with it. Working with car stereo for 2yrs you learn a few tricks along the way. I will find out what i need from someone with a wrecked car and give it a try. PATS is pretty easy to get around. Shhhhhh

The prox type PATS are very easy... place the right key in a box with wire wrapped around it, or cut the head off and duct tape it to the ECU...  There are more ways, but those are the funnest I've had to do...
