Hmm, I didn't know that. I just assumed that the intake runners siamesed (sp?) into both valves before the cylinder. It seems a huge waste of torque at steady state cruise if you are opening and closing that second intake valve and it is doing nothing to get air into the engine. I wonder if opening the divider between the valves would increase performance/fuel economy. Anyone with pics of the head intake ports?
