In an IB setup, the front and rear soundwaves need to be completely separated. There shouldn't be any "holes" or you'll have cancellation.

Originally the sub was going to fire right into the seat. Dnewma04 told me the metal in the seat would have to be removed or they would be impermeable. So I was going to have the sub offset to the right so that when I put the small half of the seat down, It could fire freely. Instead, I realized I could lean the baffle board back so the rear deck and seats are in front. Now I could put some slits or holes in the rear deck with some mesh grills. So the holes are in front of the baffle board. Also, there would be no need to worry about the seats, cause airflow would go through the rear deck. It's like a 15" rear deck. The board would also allow for more subs to be added later. All this would would only take up a triangle in the front top of the trunk. Kapish?
