What are they for ? They're plastic lines, like a vacuum line. One goes all the way up and into/under the headliner, the other stops halfway up the A pillar and is covered with a little piece of foam. I was hardwiring my radar detector and I noticed them in the process of doing that.

I uploaded a pic to my profile. When it's approved, you'll be able to see it. Very unusual.

Click for a pic. The dangling cord is the power cord for my radar detector. Anyone got ideas ?

It's the antenna for the GPS unit your parents put in the car so they can tell when you have been speeding. . . . and where you have been spending your time.
Really, I don't know what it is. Can you trace the line to the other end to see where it goes?

My only guess is they can somehow remove moisture from the car.

i thought the black one was the radio antenna cable that runs up the apiller to the top to the back and down the cpillar to the antenna. the white tube i have no idea. maybe it is a sunroof drain. my car is an mtx and i have the atx plug tucked away under the carpet to the left of the mtx shifter

I work for Ford and have seen some funky things. The black one is probably a sunroof drain tube even though your car dosen't have a sunroof. I have no clue what the clear one is, just try to follow it to the other end, could be some kind of HVAC case vent.
