FYI most common adhesives are probably a waste of your time. Epoxy, JB Weld to be specific works, or so I've heard, but it's extremely difficult to get into the small area in a controlled way (especially with a two part epoxy). I tried three different types of pretty exotic sounding adhesives and none of them wuold stick to the dash vinyl.
