we have an older Olympus D-460 and we are in dire need of an upgrade. 1.3 megapixels just doesn't cut it anymore and it doesn't do well in extreme light conditions where a lot of contrast is involved. great macro feature, so close-ups of flowers are near perfect.

i think we need something smaller with a faster recovery time

I decided that I liked the Kokak DX6440 best. Cost me $340 with 2nd day shipping on Ebay. I decided to spend a little more and purchased a new instead of the numerous "refurbished" ones that seem to go for around 250.

I will let everyone know how I like the camera. Especially after I break it in next weekend in Vegas!

we bit the bullet and bought one yesterday too!

Olympus Stylus 410

got it from Amazon.com for $299 and we had a $50 gift certificate from test driving a Saab 93 convertible. So, $250. not bad for a camera that lists for $380!

Wow, lots of digital camera buyers this week.

I just bought a Sony Cybershot P10.

Open-box clearance at $339. I was in love with the P8, but couldn't find it anywhere. This is its higher-up twin, which I couldn't keep my eyes off seeing it at that price.

It was a little bit more than I planned on spending, so I'll have to live with the 32MB memory stick for a while, but well worth it!
