Sounds like a loose or bad/disconnected alternator wire somewhere. Get under there & track down any wires that are not connected, re-secure any ground wires that may be suspect, and double check that the connector on the alternator is snugly in place & properly secure.
I had a shop install a new alt for me some months ago & they lost a retaining wire for the main connector of the alternator. The connector worked loose a few days after the repair & the alternator stopped charging. Additionally, the alt got fried when the plug worked loose. I installed the free replacement myself & grabbed a retaining wire from a BMW connector to replace the one on my car. No problems since.
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
