On a Zetec

What if you bank a turbo off of Piston 2 and 3 only.
Would it work?


Manifold cut, custom pipes from 2 and 3 ran to the right, batt & holder removed and in trunk, custom plate, into turbo, turbo to frontmount.. etc.


Or would this have adverse affects?
The reason for only using 2 and 3 is they move at the same time. Less boost ability, but same outcome in the long run, less stress.

It would be like a loop, and since the waistegate and bov dispose of exhaust, then it would not be contained closed, ovbiously. Along with 1 and 4 Routing to 2.5 inch exhaust, with highflow cat at resonaters spot, and 1 chopped SVT outlet.

Im only talking a small turbo, off of a TSI talon, or so, with about 2 - 3 lbs and maybe 5 lbs, but 10 to 1 ratio is bad bad bad...


Would the stock internals take 2-3 lbs? an ocasional 5?

Or would wet nitrous 35 - 50 be a better alternative.

Ill go ahead and myself, incase anyone else wants to. lol, I was thinking about it.. While im stationed in the air force, id have time to work on my car, and im determining if I should do a Nitrous setup, or a Small turbo for fun..
