The worst thing is that we all can see what media and myths blown out of proportion can do to history.
I guess JFK was not particularly bad, but rather he was good-for-nothing. I remember that Kremi posted something - back in the day when we had this discussion - that JFK prevented the WWIII. A huge myth again. Even for those who think so - it's worth remembering that prior to his peace endeavors he initiated the Bay of Pigs adventure, so the rest was the logical continuation.
By the time JFK was assasinated we had over 15,000 military personnele stationed in South 'Nam, but his successor is still blamed for the war.
Some ppl hate on JFK 'cause he allegedly stirred all this so-called anti-racist movement, but as far as my history knowledge goes - he never did even that.
Anyway, Reagan was a great President, no matter what. The last great one, unfortunately...
