Can someone explain to me what comes with the Ground Control kits? I thought all of these kits came with Eibach springs and you had to supply your own set of shocks to mate to it. Is this correct?

Ground control kit comes with the coil-over kit and a custom coil-over style spring. The springs are made by eibach, but don't let that confuse you, they are nothing like the oem style eibach springs. You have to supply struts when going coil-over. Either something like Koni yellows or the Bat sport struts if you're on a budget.

Thanks Steve. I noticed that most of the kits on their website didn't have the same Eibach springs. Do they still have progressive rates, though? And are there better springs out there than these specific Eibachs for this application?

The coil-over springs are all linear-rate. I'm not sure, but you might be able to use the different rate springs from the BAT catalog with the ground control kit. No progressives, though.

OK, I did some research and found some progressive rate and dual-coil springs for coil-overs (and the BAT catalog has an extensive variety of less expensive linear-rate springs with multiple lengths and rates). I have not, however, been able to find out any info on the diameter, free length, and spring rate of the Eibachs that come with the Ground Control kit. I tried calling GC and their lines are always busy. Does anyone have this stat for the linear-rate Eibach spring? And the SVT spring for that matter?

ttt

Does anyone know the free length, rate, and diameter of the stock SVT springs and the Eibach springs that come with the Ground Control kit? Thanks.

Not a clue. Try calling SPMotorsports and seeing if they know.....

You can also try the coil-over kits from BAT
