I love that book. Especially when Scarlet spun that web to keep all the young pigs warm.

You can blame the division as much on W as you can terrorism on Americans. Liberals are madder than ever at the President, and you're saying it's W's fault. That implies that if Bush did some things differently, then there wouldn't be so much division. We can all thank God that what he is doing is right, and that he's not making policy based on what would be least divisive.

W3rd. But that's why Clinton was so loved, he governed by polls.

Maybe BUSH take a look at the POLLS.

Yeah, it's really the best thing for the country for the president to operate on the whim of a sample of 1000 people with a +/- 5% margin of error.

And another thing, do you enjoy being banned all the time? I swear, you might as well wear a sign that says "HEY LOOK AT ME, I'M JARED! BAN ME AGAIN!!!

ROFLMAO - Damn Pack you crack me up.

Dav for king; I love reading your comebacks, pure wit!

Reading this topic has helped with my hang over - It helped me ignore the pain in my head by reading some of the "sheep-like" banter from people who obviously make up their political minds by watching TV. It's sad to see such a lack of intelligence and individuality these days. Everyone seems to be on the "lets get another president" bandwagon, simply because it's an option. If Kerry gets elected, I'm going to think about moving to France as this country will go to hell in a handbasket, and even France would be a better place to live compared to what the US will become. That cock-sucker has the spine of a jelly-fish and is more vague than a Picasso painting.

As far as I'm concerned, the last great years of this country occured under Bill Clinton's administration. Once we get the Shrub into office, terrorism becomes a way of life. The "Patriot Act" takes away our civil liberties. Gas prices skyrocket. Jobs disappear as everything is sent overseas. Every nation on this planet hates us.

The basic question you should ask is "are you better off than four years ago?" In my opinion, the answer is "HELL NO". The sooner Bush is run out of office, the better off this nation will be. Yeah, you die-hard conservatives don't get your panties in a bunch. You just can't admit that the Clinton administration was the last of the peaceful and prosperous years in the U.S.

With the current administration, if you're not white, male, heterosexual, Christian, conservative, and Republican, you don't deserve to exist. Kind of sounds like the Axis powers in 1940.

Yes, I'm sure that Osama Bin Ladin was waiting on GW Bush to be elected before he planned 9/11. Don't be a douche.

The only ones effected are the ones doing wrong. I sure don't feel "threatened" by the Patriot act, I'm not a terrorist.

It's not the first time and it won't be the last, deal with it.

That was happening long before GW came to office.

They hate us until they need us, that's the way it always goes.

As I recall, OBL hit US interests more times under Clinton than he did under Bush. Clinton threw a few odd stones at him and it escalated. Odd, aint it.

That's the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard. Quit reading from Moveon.org's handbook.

You're getting close to being certifiably nuts here...

WRONG. There were more successful terrorist attacks on the US here stateside during Clinton's reign than Bush's (in terms of number of attacks, not loss of life). You are totally ignoring that the Clinton administration gutted the CIA during this period, too and [censored]-footed all around terrorism his ENTIRE term. In short, the CIA was blind and deaf as far as HumInt was concerned in the Middle-East.

Your precious Clinton administration was the CATALYST, in a sense, behind much of the "catch-up" that the US is having to play today in regard to terrorism.

Regardless, I'm of the belief that even if Clinton did what Bush has and locked the US down as tight as humanly possible under present circumstances, something big still would have happened.

Ultimately, branding Bush for an upswing in terrorism is extraordinarily thick-headed. Bin Laden and his folks were planning 9/11 back during the Clinton administration, FYI...

I'm not a big fan of it, either, but pray tell what civil liberties you are no longer enjoying as of today? As the state to the East would say, "Show me". Again, I don't like the overtones of it one bit, but ultimately, I can't name one freedom that has been stolen away from me by the Federal government since it's inception.

Welcome to the immutable laws of supply and demand, which are rather blind to partisan politics. They don't give a damn if a Democrat or Republican is in office...

It's been happening since the '80s and started RAMPING up in the '90s, under the Clinton administration. Don't forget that Clinton FULLY supported NAFTA...

I've been in 3 since the start of this year (Costa Rica, Mexico and UAE). I wasn't accosted by anyone I talked to and in UAE and Costa Rica, I had people mention that our efforts in Iraq, while reckless in their eyes, were admirable.

Hmm. Let's see:

Better job: Check.

LARGE raise in pay: Ditto.

Working less hours: Yes.

Of course, this would have happened regardless of who was in office. Out of all this, my main gripe is the amount of taxes I'm paying out now.

You have GOT to give me the brand name of the blinders you wear, because they work GREAT. Clinton had next to NOTHING to do with the state of the US economy during the '90s. Few presidents have, since Roosevelt. Plow through an econ book to figure out why...

I believe Condolezza Rice and Colin Powell would take exception to the ignorant line of BS you are selling, as well as a number of other minority members of the administration's staff.
