What successes? Fudging the numbers on the GDP and financing the budget with short term notes, instead of long term, not good interest rate wise, to make the deficit dissapear? Gutting the military (thus making the government smaller) and hamstringing the intelligence? The failed national health reform, Hillary care, that would have turned one-fifth of the American economy over to the federal government. Turning down offers of securing Bin Laden before 9/11 ever happened. Vetoing welfare reform twice before signing it into law. Here is a serious question for you, Dionysus, tell me one, just one, piece of legislation the Clinton actively campaigned for that became law. Please, Dionysus, show your credibility and answer this one question first, without any other rhetoric, or asking me another question. Please remember, I want to see the answer to this question before you say anything else to me.

And about the first posters comments, any former president can have a state funeral, but the government has no say so as to the details, the family sets the guidelines for what they want to have. All former presidents still alive have preperations on file for their funerals except Clinton. Nixon's family didn't have one on file.

You can blame the division as much on W as you can terrorism on Americans. Liberals are madder than ever at the President, and you're saying it's W's fault. That implies that if Bush did some things differently, then there wouldn't be so much division. We can all thank God that what he is doing is right, and that he's not making policy based on what would be least divisive.

Your logic is faulty because you are assuming that what Bush is doing is "right".

I'm not saying that he's not. But "right" is subjective, hence the division.

Whereas you are thanking God Bush is doing what you feel is right, others are praying to God that he's gone in November.

If my logic is faulty, then so is that of those who think that what he's doing is wrong. I simply agree with what he's doing, and I believe what he's doing is right. If he followed perceived public opinion, that which the media attempts to make us believe is the exact opposite of what Bush is doing, then I believe we would be headed for trouble. I don't mind "division" if it's caused by doing what will preserve our freedom.

Liberals, Frogs, and terrorists (I apologize for the redundancy) unite in praying that Bush is not re-elected.

Read a quote in the local newspaper...

"Hillary Clinton said Donald Rumsfeld should have known Iraqi detainees were 'dropping their pants' in Abu Ghraib 8,000 miles away, yet her husband was dropping his, just downstairs"
