Last year, one of my buds gave me a brake disc clock as a B-day gift. Being a car nut, and a brake guy...it was the perfect gift. (Ok, so a Ferrari would have been perfect, but this was pretty damn good) Anyway, it fit in perfectly in my basement "Man-Land".

Knock-off 2 Anyway, flash forward to last month. We were cleaning out some of the shelves here at work. We had a bunch of junk parts and prototypes that were headed for the scrap heap. I was looking at some of the stuff and thought "
Man, that would make a sweet clock" . So, I snagged a couple parts (half of a Viper caliper and a Ford GT rotor) and tossed them under my desk.
This weekend, I had some time, so I pulled out the parts and headed off to the hardware store. A few hours of sanding, painting, clear coating and assembling...mix in a little JB Weld.....and
Viola! The Real Deal Brake Disc Clock(TM)

Disc Clock 3 Over all, I am pleased with the result. It looks great here in the office. Although, until we find a good stud to hang it, its table top....~26lbs is a bit heavy for a little picture hanger!
