thats pretty tight, I was aware that the focus hub fit. But I think you're like one of 2 or 3 people that actually have an aftermarket wheel.

That's a good pic of the unmodified hub you linked to off the eBay auction:

Looks exactly how mine came.

Here's a couple pics of my install that shows how I had to grind my hub down on a lathe to a smaller diameter to fit the Contour's steering column, and you can also see the offset counterweight look'n thing that had to be made there for the turn signals to work properly so they will shut off by themselves.

Pics:

I also did have to shave maybe 1/16" around the plastic shrouds that go around the steering column so they wouldn't rub, because even after grinding down the Focus adapter to it's minimum possible diameter I could get away with, it still had a slight interference problem.

To whom it may concern:

RGSOUNDF just PM'd me and said that deanjoyce.com performs the mods to make a Focus hub fit onto Contique

Now if Dean will sell something that makes retaining cruise control real easy, then I'd have to think about getting a momo wheel, but it wouldn't be until next tax season.
