Yeah, I agree 100% with above said statement. Don't run around crying about it and spreading rumors like this is the 5th grade. Go buy the transmission and [censored] your car up, or make it work, its a 50/50 chance. Depends on your mechanical abilities.

I belive that my statement was nothing but fair.
Why pay when you can do it yourself, I've changed transmissions and engines before, it's not like i am a rookie to the whole deal i just wanted to know if anyone had hear of a sucessful swap yet not to get regulated for telling the truth.
just like every other forum i'm on, one or two people take there idea of whats right and......well edit away.

Do you really feel that Terry, as a business OWES you the knowledge he has gained from his own costly research investment? Sure it would be nice of him to share out of the kindness of his heart, but the guy has to earn a living, and research like this is what makes his business stand out from the rest of the shops around.
I don't blame the guy one bit for blowing you off, I would have done the exact same thing if I were in his shoes. Though, I might have said "I'll tell you, but you have to pay for it, and you have to sign a non-disclosure agreement . . ."
