I will state it, again, now:
I am, once again, very proud of how mature this site it, and how well thought out most responses are.. It makes my time on this site much more enthusiastic, and I tend to learn alot more at face value, since the tendency to "weed out the B.S" isn't as strong as, say, other forums..
Thank you once again, Roz, Chris, Lance, Perry, and all the mods.
Completely off topic, I know... but I'll go down in the books as having said that this is a great site..

No, thank you...its people like yourself that make this site what it is..people who search, read, and take the time to learn and research topic;s. People who understand that respcet is a 2 way street.
Thats what makes this site stand out form the rest IMO.
But occasionly we get the people, when things don;t go there way, they [censored] and mone about it...and when very resonable answers are givin, they don;t want to accept it.
Yes occasionaly there are thoes who are smart ass and know everything....but there main reason for thoes comments are due to the pure fact that the most simple answers can be dfound in the FAQ in each forum. (i know some are still being created) And if not there it can be searched in the Archive or the current forums...i know...i have done it count less times. (EDIT: DemonSVT's website is also a vast source of information!!!!)
But like said above...this site is great and i love it as much as you do Ray.

This site has matured since I first joined years back, and the B.S. has seemed to settle down a bit, maybe because those people have moved on, or learned, or I got used to it...lol. Its great. Its also funny how I got banned from another "Contour" site, for, when it all comes down to it, posting a link to Ceg. Its laughable to me.

The maturity level tends to go in cycles, as each new crop of contour owners has its bunch of whiners that come with it. Some of the whiners wise up and become valuable contributing members, and some continue to leech, and some get banned for being idiots, etc etc.
I think this thread has outlived its usefulness.
And if anyone wants a 6-speed conversion in a contour, Terry is the man to try to freeload from; errr, I mean to hire
