Here is Terry Haine's thread, over at FCO, on the subject. Should be just about everything you want to know on the subject in that thread. I'm not sure if anyone has done it yet though.

The Durashift six-speedā??s longer top gear gives Mondeo ST220 a boost in potential top speed from 151mph to 155mph, for more relaxed cruising at motorway speed. Zero-to-62mph acceleration is maintained at 7.6 seconds.
Well, you'd get better gas mileage anyway.
Couldn't find the actual gear ratios, but it sounds like it was mainly just an addition of another overdrive rather than a performance move (plus all the aarticles say the new 6 speed is more reliable)

Ok, it has come to my attention that this might just get a little out of hand and I want to put a lid on things before they do.
I understand where you are coming from Eddie & Cat (been there with the CD4E and Level 10), but I also understand where Terry is coming from (the man does own and run a business). I am not going to take sides here, not my job. So, I will am asking you, "Eddie & Cat" to keep any public displays against anyone off these boards and out of our Tranny Forum. If you have a problem with someone, I suggest keeping in PM's.

You know, your post was removed before I got a chance to read it, but, I get the gist of it from Terry's statements elsewhere.
Anyway, as a business, THM is under no obligation to provide you with information on parts modification, or even install information unless you are purchasing said parts and/or service from them. No doubt Terry has spent large amounts of time and money researching how to perform said modifications to fit the ST220 6-speed into a contour and his only way to recoup those expenses, as a business, is to sell that knowledge he gained, either by itself, or as part of the service of installing the said parts into a customer's vehicle.
Terry and I have had disagreements in the past on his dealings with customers, but in this case, I think he is spot on, and well justified for being irritated.
