What kind of car do you have ?

On a 95-97 Zetec, you do it from above after removing the air intake plenum.
It's in a longish rectangular black plastic case, you'll find it easily by following the thick wire from the alt.
Unclip the top of the case and use a 13mm rachet wrench with a long extension to undo the bolts.
