Yes, exact same unit. Except, from Meguiar's you get a lifetime no questioned asked guarantee. Unit dies, they send you a new one. To some people, it's worth it. The tools are pretty stout, like anything from Porter Cable, but they do occassionally break.

Of all the reviews I've read about these machines, I haven't seen a single person that is unhappy with their purchase.
