Hey Perry. Maybe you should try using seperate products, instead of the dual action. I never really get that good of results using dual action anythings.

I use the Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner and Deep Crystal Polish. I have found that when applying 2 very thin coats each, it works really really well to remove swirl marks like the one's in your first picture.

I know! I know! I being caption obvious since these are older, more well known products that I bet you have experience with, but all the same. They really do work well.

I also see that you was using a buffer. I have used mine for I guess going on a year and half now and have always been pleased with it, until recently. I started noticing that my swirl marks where not going away either. I soak my bonnets after each use and clean my wool bonnet as well, but it seemed to not help as of late. So, since money has been tight, instead of going out and buying all new bonnets, I sprang for a new $3 pack of hand applicator pads. Problem solved!

Anyway, just some things that ran across my mind after reading your post and the car is looking sharp!
