I may have only been about 10 when Regan became President, but I remember ALL of his time in office pretty much. I remember that time being cool. I loved it. Not just because he was president, but the US, and the world were actually happier places. Yes, there were still problems, but there wasn't all this violence and stuff there is going on now. Even the music was much more FUN to listen to back then.
None of the grunge crap, people singing about being losers and "why don't you kill me".
The military absolutely LOVED Regan too. My dad served under him, and he thinks Regan was the BEST president ever. He will be missed.
As for the people coming in and "dissing" Regan, well, you are always going to have that. Unfortunately, Wellington, or whatever his name is, chose the wrong time to do it. It's the same though like when I announced I was pregnant. There were two jerks that posted really rude messages about it, for no reason, all because it was ME.
I think everyone should live by the saying "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"
