As some of you know I have controlable awd in my eclipse. I am trying to get it for the contour. If any body wants it let me know. BTW controlable AWD there is a toggle switch which I can select RWD FWD or AWD.

And heavy...and more drivetain drag...
I'd only do awd if i got a supercharger or or 3L conversion or something else that'll give me substantially more power than i have now...
not to mention, this controllable awd mod will probably cost a fortune!!!

When I was thinking about getting an eclispe i seen a few convertible GSX's. The only prob was that they were going for 25k at the time.

Mitsubishi never sold ANY AWD Spyders. The body structure was so weakened by making it a convertible, the AWD would put too much stress on the body. You would literally be sitting in a pretzel after one good 6000rpm launch.
ALL Spyders were fwd. GS-T was turbo'ed, GS wasn't.
I own a GSX and I fail to understand what "controllable AWD" means? As a matter of fact, I don't live too far from you-- I'd like to see your controllable AWD in your GS-T sometime.

Please, can you come to our forum - http://www.dsmtalk.com and tell us more about your FWD Turbo Spyder with the controlable AWD system? We can always use a good laugh...
