Awesome work. Those manual boost controllers tend to work oddly on externally gated turbos. Its a matter of how much it can bleed really. Any pics of your setup? I would love to see it.

And thank you for putting your life out there to protect what we come to know as freedom. I commend you.

because your car would accelerate 9.8m/s^2 if you dropped it off a cliff. . .

Doesn't that vary slightly depending on where you're at in the world?

You sure about using Iridiums? Most people on the Focus Forums are using copper. TurboTom custom makes his own plugs to fit since you can't get copper and colder more than one step for the zetec and at 400whp, he needs at least 4 steps colder.

As for an ignition upgrade. Most people on the Focaljet recommend the J&S safeguard. It can do everything a MSD DIS2-4 can do but it can also monitor knock and retard timing when it senses knock/deto. Everybody who has one there swears buy it. They also make one for V6s now. Here's the link, if you don't already know. http://www.jandssafeguard.com/

Have you ever thought about running water injection? Again those guys on the Focaljet who have it swear buy it. Might be able to run more power on 91 octane with the J&S and H20 injection than without. Good numbers.

Assuming a zero friction enviro- the acceleration of gravity is the same wherever you are on earth.

Close but not quite - the force of gravity decreases with the square of the distance between the 2 objects F = G m1 * m2 / r^2. While relatively small, gavity would be less on the top of Everst compared to sea level. For the g force acceleration g= G m / r2 where r and m are the mass and radius of the earth. g has the value of 9.78039 x 10-1 m.s-2 at the equator and 9.83217 x 10-1 m.s-2 at the poles (since the earth is somewhat flattened at the poles). Diff would be bigger on everst

That safeguard sounds intresting, anyone else around here have experience with it. The only thing is I thought sytems that went through Knock sensors, were actualy seeing the results to late, as in retard the timing after the motor had already detonated and thus causing damage. I don't know, maybe its sensitvity is precise.
