Big numbers, Chris! A much deserved congrats to you!

Obviously, this new turbo's not built for low end, but rather the high end. Wow! It's a totally different beast than the previous car. I'm impressed.

Got a Q, though. Why the ~15 less hp and ~20 less tq before the IMRC opens up with the larger intercooler? What's causing that? Despite that, someone pointed out that it's probably a blessing for the 1/4.

The T28 was fully spooled up by about 2900rpms, hence the low end punch. The off the line traction has improved with the new set up.

But in graph #1 (new turbo) there's a difference btwn the two intercoolers before spoolup. Or am I reading the graph wrong?

The difference is on one run the turbine was hotter than the other. A hot turbine will spool incredibly faster than a cooler one.

Ugh... just go ahead and get it over with and make a pass and get 400 hp... How can you get so close and then say.. well ok, this is fine for me. Just do it for numbers sake and then detune it. All I know is that I am going to be coping alot of the info in this post down.
