Originally posted by dbird: when you removed the rotors did you clean up the rust marks on the area where the roto goes??? if not the rotors will be out of alignment... there was an artile, i think a link from this web site that covered just about any brake quesiton you would have.. or it might have been on the newsgroup: alt.autos.ford cant remember, but you have to make sure that you use a wire brush in a drill to clean up all the old rust, no matter how small so the rotors will be correctly installed... did you use a dial guage on the rotor to see if it was in line??? whoever did the brakes the first time might have put the wheels back on and messed up the rotors by putting too much torque on the nuts??? or they might have something loose holding down the brake parts????
