Ditto. Buffet is the Poster-Child of Investing, but his politics are definitely left-leaning.

Wow ... just wow.

I have issues because I don't like my money being given away to some lazy pieces of crap? Welfare is a FAILURE, it would be one thing if it was given away to the truly needy, but there are people who have lived generations on it. That's BS.

They should slap themselves for not working hard enough, work harder, and shut the hell up. If you can't work hard enough to keep a job, you DESERVE to be on the streets digging through trash cans, waiting in soup lines.

If welfare is truly working so well, why then is there still such a poverty problem? The system is obviously failing somewhere, and the democratic mantra of "keep throwing money at it and see if it starts to work" just isn't working. I'm sick of seeing my tax dollars go to waste on public programs that don't even accomplish their goals, let alone do anything for me. The government is accountable to its constituents... why aren't we all raising a bigger flag about our tax money being wasted on welfare that's not ending poverty, social security that has zero chance of survival in its current form, medicaid that is still leaving 50% of our country without medical insurance (if you would believe some dems' statistics)??? The social security issue REALLY irks me... they take 6.2% of my salary, PLUS my employer kicks in the same, so 12.4% of my potential salary is being thrown into a program that i'll likely never see a dime from! Doesn't that bother you?? Even a little?!? Its a PAYGo system, meaning that you pay your whole life and then it pays you back... except you're paying without getting paid back. Its like sending your $600 to Kaotic and never getting a body kit, and being happy about it because at least someone somewhere has your money. its ridiculous!!

So Republicans don't have AC ? Interesting ...

So what if Bono has $600 jeans. $600 for a pair of jeans exactly the same as my $20 Old Navy jeans means a nice little profit for someone. And profit is good right ? Or have you done a John Kerry and now feel that profit and free enterprise is bad ? Come On .... you know you're a Democrat !

The difference here is that Republicans aren't nearly as hypocritical about it... Bono is complaining about the lack of action in Africa, the lack of humanitarian aid provided by the US (he's not even a citizen! Why doesn't he shut the [censored] up!?!) but he is being hypocritical by wearing $600 jeans when he could've bought your $20 Old Navy Jeans and sent $580 to some African aid foundation.
