Did you have any problems with the engine shutting off after installing the SHO intake?

My next question is how do you clean these damn air filters? I saw there was a couple of people that have had the SHO Shop intake on theres. Should I just replace it with a K&N or can I use there oil and charge kit on the no name one I have.
