It makes a small difference - but I have Koni's and Eibachs. Not sure how much of an improvement it really is.
I drove around for 2 weeks without it and the car did seem a tiny bit "looser" than it did with the brace on.
Tire wear is minimal - even with Koni's and Eibach's that I have on - Can't really help on that question.
