The later part definitely makes sense but the prior part makes you sound ridiculous. 
You actually base decisions of the amount of oil an engine holds. 
You should buy a car with a Slant 6 in it. They run fine on no oil. I've seen countless run like that forever. Just think of all the "extra" oil you won't have to "pay" for...
