Travis, If you end up going with the twin (or was it dual?) throttle body set-up, what MAF would you end up using? ModMustang? Custom?

Thanks for keeping us updated.

Sorry on the long reply, It doesnt hurt flow to just have them setting there in the plenum helps a little actaully using 6061 t-6 .25 inch flat plate alumn. Im working on hot working aluminium with my tig welder.. so far iv only got 2nd degree burns which tells me im not trying hard enough .. when i figure it out ill do something about getting the runners flowing up there with prostock. but looking over this mani that i just got from david. Anything besides that is an improvement Im going on vacation from friday to friday so until then take care.

Looks like you are off to a great start.

One question, is the manifold in the picture the one you are working on for the contour?
It looks like a 4 cylinder manifold since it has only four holes and a TB inlet more like a 4 cyl motor. Anything from the contour side?

Maybe similar construction technique, but they can't look similar in shape or size. There is no room under the standard contour/cougar/mystique, mazda, etc, for that type of setup unless it completely replaced the upper and lower manifolds AND it will probably have shorter runners too.

Its a one piece upper and lower runners will probably be able to pull off 6 inches which should be fine with the long mid port head length of these engines. Youll loose low end but thats just the name of the game. You dont get something for nothing.
