Chris,
I am looking at buying a Superchip off of someone who had an SVT. Do I have to make sure it is the same type as my car or can I just have it reprogrammed?
Thanks, Justin

Mine came off of a Duratec Cougar. I have a Zetec Mystique. I didn't have the raves about the chip Chris has, then again, I have heavier wheels and a thinner atmosphere. I do notice differences, but I have to annotate them to be sure. Just send the chip into Warren at KKM and it's $45 for the reburn.

Thanks, Justin You can only use the chip if you comptuer code is the same. If it isn't, you have to pay to get it reprogrammed. Typically $40-45. Do not put it in if it is different.
