80+ MPH winds in downtown Tulsa... Pushed in & shattered both drivers doors & jacked front windsheild. Cool part is the moonroof -- its sucked up from the inside out & has a huge hole in it. Look like someone punched it from inside. Shitay pics, but you get the idea. Also is my hit & run with no insurance on the rear bumper.

**** pics are in my profile -- cant post them here because they are not 'approved' yet **** feel free to post them once they are available

Sorry Dave, the pictures don't work. Says, "The File You Are Looking For is Inaccessible".

that storm sucked I ended up sitting on a power supply all night feeding power to it. I worked 24hrs before I got a relief guy to let me off and go home. its safe to say that tulsa will be with out power til around tuesday according to AEP... I was in the center of it for a while and I saw trees getting blown over... not limbs. TREES. it blew some guys harley over on its side.

Man, all hell was breaking loose downtown! I work at the Mid-Continent tower. Even as low as the 12th floor you could feel the building rocking. I can only imagine what the top floor was like. We were all looking out the windows at all the transformers arcing, throwing of big flashes of light, all over downtown. Then we heard about all the windows blowing out at the WilTel bulding! We started thinking it might not be a good idea to stand so close to the windows! I was in shock when I drove by the building on my way home and saw the side of the building pushed out like that!

yea I got out on site at 7 after my normal shift last night and we had a power supply thrown breakers on the genororaters (SP?) that took three of us about 2 hours to get worked out. got that taken care of then at 4am are fiber crew woke me up in my van and said the node was down again and the power supply was thrownin an alarm. we changed it all out no sooner then AEP gets there and tells us that the power lines are all kinda messed up. then at like 7:30 LunchBox from 101.5 the beat knocks on the window with donunts and milk... they were giving to all the works they could find working the storm recovery...

for those of you with State Farm & a moonroof-- be warned:

If you have a $100 glass co-pay, State Farm will refer you to their glass partner at 1-888-624-4410. These guys will "break" the bad news to you: Moonroof (glass), sunroofs, and t-tops are NOT included ! These are covered by your comprehensive coverage, which in my case means a $500 deductable. And, as expected, tint is out of your pocket on all windows. Which blows because you know you'll have to have the whole car re-done to have a nice match.
