I took the family 2 months ago, and I agree it was awesome. Definitely worth a visit when you come to town.

hey, washington was great. i am sorry that i wasnt able to hook up with you guys. the highlight of the trip was waiting 5 hours at capital hill to pay my respects to regan. look in the common interest for more details on that. the "mall" was the shizzzz you really dont get a feel for just how grand everything is by their pictures you have to go there. breathtaking. i rode the metro a few times, went shopping, went to the zoo, and enjoyed some really good food. if you were an out-of-towner trying to drive there while reading directions you can stick a fork in it cause you are done. i just wanted to say that i was really impressed by DC and i wanted to say thanks for having me.

I'm glad you enjoyed DC. It's a great town. In my opinion one of the most beautiful down towns anywhere! I went down to get in line on Thursday night at around 1 and they said the line was about 11 hours long. With everything closing at 7 we decided not to get in-line and went to the WWII memorial and played with the duckys.

I went down about 2:30 am with some friends from work it only took approx 2.5 hours to get in and pay our respects. Well worth the lost sleep

i've worked and gone to school in DC for years and i still find new places and things to do. fun city, although if you are ever traveling around 14th & K look out for the old bum who wants to wash your windows, he got me the other day even after i told him not too. window was dirtier after he cleaned it
