"This is an important message because there are a lot of people out there that are driving these vehicles that don't have, like Mrs. Wilson, any clue of what could happen," Schoville said. Yeah, no clue what can happen when you go flying down the road and try to get away with the same manouvers in an SUV that you can do in a car! ESPECIALLY no clue of what can happen if you are an average or marginal driver in the first place, who has no concept of vehicle dynamics and the basic laws of physics... They REALLY need to do a better job in driver's ed.

You need to watch further ahead when your vehicle is not as nimble as a sports car, so you can avoid problems sooner and not push the edge of your vehicle's handling envelope.
Granted, I'm no fan of Ford's lame front suspension design on the Rangers and early Explorers, due to the wacked camber changes that occur through the suspension travel, which causes bad tire wear and other problems. But that design is not the reason why people roll these things. It probably doesn't help matters, but they've used that same basic design on Rangers, Bronco IIs and F-Series trucks (yes, the F-Series is wider) for years. Heck, my dad's Ranger doesn't even have a front sway bar! You wanna see body roll?! At least they've finally come to their senses and gone to a SLA-type design, which probably does have a lower roll-center, and therefore, better handling. So yes, Ford should have designed it better in the first place, but even as it was, it DID pass all the tests to be approved for sale by the Federal government. If there's a problem, maybe we need to change the tests.
Oh, and these are the SAME damn people that whine and complain that things cost so much! "My prescription drugs are too expensive! WAAAAAHH!" Yeah, it's because dumbasses like YOU SUE THE COMPANIES for ANYTHING -- even your own damn STUPIDITY!!!
