mine does it, its actually the a/c compressor on mine...very very faint though.

when i downshift and leave the clutch in (like say slid the shifter in to 1st around 25mph while declerating) i get a whiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrr until i come to a stop but it doesnt do it with the clutch out...BTW the MTX fluid has never been changed...coming up on 85K pretty quick.
