How much is Diesel per litre in the UK. Sure hope manufactures start offering the new (to the USA) common rail diesel, makes no sense to wait until US gas prices get to Europes. (Taxes for the most part right?) I especially like the idea of having strong low-end torque again and 30-50 mpg depending on vehicle. The words out that technology is here to keep the EPA happy.
Sure hope common sense will prevail over the lastest vanity craze? Bigger, higher and lack of stewardship.

While the the Big Three can't seem to make money on small vehicles, don't forget their last fix to slowing cash flow. Raising parts prices 30-300 % on high demand parts. ALL Three have come-up with idea seperately (mechanic and contributing author to carconnection.com), however remembering past & present automotive lobbists, I find it suspect. PM me if you want to read the article.

three days ago $2.49, today $2.39. gas prices are finally looking as if they are dropping. Those prices are from the same gas stations. Everywhere near me they plus is under #2.40 unless you are in remond, its like $2.60.

Premium (92) has been over $2 a gallon here for months. (Regular got close but is back in the 1.80's now) That's about my only point of note is above the $2 threshold. It's not much compared to most other places in the world but it gets my pucker meter going at that point.

I just paid $1.98 a gallon this afternoon for 93 octane. For some reason the price here has dropped almost $0.30 in the past week.
