I don't know alot about the 98 svt motor so I am going to bug every body until I find out everything there is to know!!! ;-) What all can be done to this motor on a buget and without a buget?? Such as Spraying, head work, boring,cams, cam gears, ram air, etc. I doesn't have to be street legal ethier because the car I am putting it in is going to be stricly a race car... PLEASE HELP!!!

First and foremost welcome aboard. Second, spend a day, night, weekend, whatever it takes to read through whats here first. Your question is extremely broad. After all, you could probably do just about whatever the hell you want without a buDget.

i think you picked the wrong car to use as strictly a racecar...but to each his own. what type of racing? just straight line?

some stuff i can think of: catback, y-pipe, headers, open air intake filter, maf, thottle body, UDP, lightened flywheel, performance clutch, atb diff, performance chip, plugs and wires, 37mm butterfly manifold, intake manifold with w/seconary port opened up to match 37mm plates, supercharger, nitrous, poly front engine mount bushings, short throw shifter, mds ingition system...um, that's all i can think of...

you'd have to have pretty deep pockets to get all or most of the bolt-on's. if ya got no budget...geez, you can do whatever you want! have a new and better engine built! or buy a cosworth engine and drop that sucker in! or better yet, buy a real performance performance car!
