Not a silly question at all. If you get too firm of a ride it could, over time, cause rattles and such. I intend to go for suspension upgrades that are kinda a step or two below race level. I actually had a conversation with my mechanic today about this. I am having some work done within the next two weeks or so. I will let everyone know how is goes. By the way Brooklyn, I live in a land of potholes and bad roads also (Arlington/DC). People in the far south may not be able to relate to this
