anyone know how i can test a window switch to see which connector tab operates each "arrow". i assume there's a tab for illumination and power, etc. and i'd guess one for the up function and one for the down function. is there a way to isolate which tab works the up and which works the down?

i've never actually seen the back of one of those switches, but being an electronic engineer, i can tell you...

if you take a meter, and press it on one of the tabs, take the other and pick a random tab. test for continuity. if you have no resistance, then those are the two tabs for the light. if not, press the buttons and find out wich tabs are for what. just process of elimination. like i said though, i've never been inside the door panel, i just know how to test switches(as well as many other things). good luck!

You look for resistance, the master switch, looks more PITA... other, should be easy

(using an Ohm Meter)
