BTW, the weather's always cold at that altitude. It's a rare thing when it's not windy as hell, too. Still, I can't get enough of those high-altitude jaunts.

Indeed. I've actually climbed to the summit from where we took these pics. My dad is a huge 14'er buff(climbed every one in CO except one that is owned by a private owner who only allows something like 10 people a year to climb it, and you have to be in a specific mountaineering club and on the waiting list, sucks pretty bad) so him and I climbed it when I was younger. We went up the eastern side of the summit, extremely windy (A contact literally flew out of my eyes) and extremely cold.

Heh, no worries Kingpin, when you drive that high, the roads are narrow as he!!, you wouldn't even want the speed your missing out on. There were a couple times I thought dragonfly was gonna take us right off!! (j/k dragonfly, that was some good piloting on those sickly narrow roads, especially with drop offs right next to us, and no guard rails )
