That happened to mine, and I left it that way a long time because the Ford place told me it would cost over $200 and they couldn't guarantee there wouldn't be damage.

Then I got the idea to take it to a body shop, surely they're used to dealing with things like that. They opened the front door to expose the hinges of the rear door, and took it off that way. What they fixed inside I don't remember...
