OK, sorry for the long lapse. CKP crankshaft position sensor. Changed it, and the car is back up and running, although the CEL is still coming on. I need to check the codes again. No rush though. For those who may need to check it, the nominal reisistance is 250 ohms of the good unit I bought from Ford for $27. (Other places were cheaper, Atozone was the cheapest, $16, but I would have had to wait a few days to get it. For me, time is money, have to drive something, and I don't have another car.) I have 137000 miles on the original clutch, I think when it goes, so will the car.
