How do you guys like them? Pics? What options do you have on them? Have you done any mod's? I priced out a 5-door S with a handful of options and got to about $25k. The SVT is down again, so I'll be getting rid of it ASAP when I get it back. Looking into what I'll be getting next.

Highly highly recommend it. I've driven one on a few occassions, and I've ridden in one numerous times. Continues to impress me every time.

Best car for the money, IMO.

A 5-Door S, with a sticker of 25K will run about 22K when all is said and done. You can get pretty good deals on these.

I love my 6, not a damn thing about it that I'd change. It's a superb car for the money.

As for pics, here's my modded 6s. H&R Springs (1.4/1.3 drop), HIDs, Eyelids, "blacked-out" sport grille, knauberized, and a number of other non-visible mods.

Very nice!

Are the HID's an option from the dealer?

I'd be sure to drive a 3s first. The one thing that the 6 has that I really really want to change is the wide turning radius. It just cannot turn as tight as a Contour. The 3 doesn't have that problem, and the front seat area of the 3 is as big as it is in the 6.

But the 3 is not nearly as sexay! I've loved the 6 ever since it debuted, but I'm a poor college kid, and my SVT suits me just fine. My next car purchase is gonna be a junker 66-70 Mustang Fastback that I can put together for the next few years, so I'll just keep googling 6's for a while.

Nope, but as mentioned projectors are standard. And, actually, with a good white bulb in there, they actually look pretty damn good. I upgraded mine to 5000K HIDs though -- I couldn't pass up a dea of $350 shipped for H1 5000K HIDs
